Changing schools can feel like a huge mountain to climb. It isn't, but it's a new challenge and can feel quite daunting. You currently feel secure at school; you know all your teachers, know your way around, and are comfortable with your friends whom you have known for some time. It can feel quite scary to leave all this behind.

Your outlook towards this change is what will make the transition good or difficult. If you arrive at your new school with resentment and negativity, then other people will see this and react accordingly. Keeping an open mind and trying to see the positives will help you achieve a much better start.

Look online at the websites that boost self-confidence. They are really good at giving you tips about how to deal with meeting new people and how to present your best attributes. This will ensure you get a warm reception.

Let those around you know how you feel, and they can support you through the changes in your life. Look forward to the new opportunities that await you.
